Hi! My name is Amanda, I have been a licensed hair stylist for over 10 years and I am now a Master Stylist here at NY Jungle! My passion for hair began when I was a child, and when I was 15 years old, I started working at a hair salon. I loved the environment so much that I eventually went to cosmetology school. Once I was licensed, I became a hairstylist at an upscale salon in 2013, and my passion for hair just continued to grow since. I learned and truly believe that continuing education is essential to being a successful hairstylist, and is the key to growth. Over the last decade, I have been constantly going to shows, classes, boot camps and expanding my knowledge in all things hair. It allows me to utilize new techniques and expand my creativity. 

Some of the many techniques I specialize in are razor & scissor cutting, hair painting & highlighting, and natural hair color. I love classic cuts with a modern twist and low maintenance hair that is easy for my client to style. I also love creating hair colors that compliment my clients skin tone best- to create that organic look & feeling. And a fun fact - I am a certified hair loss specialist! I love helping clients get their scalp the healthiest it can be. 

I am extremely grateful to say my passion since childhood has turned into my favorite job. I take it very seriously and deliver high quality and professional results to all of my clients. I am so excited to now be a part of the NY Jungle team, and cannot wait to meet all of you!
